The app no longer functions correctly

What are the symptoms?

Update your Apple TV system software to the current version, if not done already. How to update your Apple TV - Apple Support

Normally I would suggest to try this for any misbehaving app:

• Force-quit the app, then relaunch and try again.
• If the issue persists, force-quit the app, restart the device, then relaunch and try again.
• If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
• If the issue still persists, then contact the app developer for further assistance.

It seems you are already at that last step. Do contact NBC Support.

If you suspect that authentication might be the reason, then that is something for Spectrum to look in to.

If you suspect that the app is misbehaving, then that is something for the NBC app developers to look in to.

The Spectrum TV app should give you access to all channels that are included in your package. If the NBC app offers (more) different streams, then that might not all be accessible with your current plan.

To use the NBC app, you will need a pay TV provider. Authentication is with your TV provider credentials. So access should happen by arrangement between NBC and the TV provider. If you do net get access, then please contact your TV provider. Who is your TV provider?

Use of the NBC app app is limited by national borders. You wouldn’t have access to this from abroad.
