Not able to add Money to Apple ID on my kids ipad

I want to add balance to my kids iPad to purchase the App but amount section is disable. How should I add it or is there option to purchase it from my Apple balance.

Buy/redeem Apple Gift cards to the account. Charges will be deducted from the account balance before the organizer's credit card is charged.
