Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

How do I get photos/albums from PC to iPhone? Android was EASY!!!

WIN 10 to iPhone 13 Pro: Moving photos is impossible! Albums? forget it! Online instructions? A joke.

Logged into icloud. Opened icloud photos/shared on PC and loaded photo albums. What next?

No info from Apple works.

With Android, it was a simple copy and paste. AAAARRRRRGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 15

Hi marshbrew,

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Seems many of us all struggle with the learning curve if moving between platforms, or with software updates !

Re: Logged into icloud. Opened icloud photos/shared on PC and loaded photo albums. What next?

The way I understand it, (I'm no expert) if you see the PC's albums / photos ok in iCloud Photos,

you may just need to turn on iCloud Photos on your iPhone to sync the Photos.

Apple Support's article : Access and view iCloud Photos on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – Apple Support

Says:

Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.

Tap Photos.

If you need to, tap to turn on iCloud Photos.

Open the Photos app.

Tap the Library tab to see your photos.

Tap the Albums tab to see My Albums, Shared Albums, People & Places, Media Types and Utilities

Sorry that I'm offering more "online instructions"

however, without being face to face .... Apple mostly knows best how to get the message across.

Or

:If you want to download the photos from iCloud (not merely sync them) to iPhone:

Download iCloud photos and videos – Apple Support

says:

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

On iCloud.com, tap Photos.

Tap Select, then tap a photo or video.

To select multiple photos or videos, tap more than one. To select your entire library, tap Select All.

Tap the more button

Choose Download, then tap Download to confirm.

If your photos have been downloaded as a ZIP archive,

find out how to uncompress the folder on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

All the. best :-)
