Saw a bunch of posts on this not only for Roku but Firestick. The app doesn't bookmark any progress on an shows on the Apple TV+ app which is ridiculous. Streaming apps are supposed to make things simpler and easier not even worse than VHS cassette tapes which at least would retain your progress if you pressed stop. The canned Apple support answer is to remove and reinstall app. Doing this does not change anything.
