Minecraft on MacBook

So I've been playing Minecraft on my new M2 MacBook Air. Whenever I do play Minecraft, my laptop gets REALLY hot. Is there a way to prevent this and if possible, Why does this happen?

MacBook Air, macOS 12.5

It happens because Minecraft is very processor-intensive (because it's a java-based application). There is really no way to prevent it, you can consider a cooling pad:

As a benchmark, two of my kids have 2019 Intel MacBook Air models and those have a fan. When they play Minecraft the fan runs at high speed.
