My iPhone xs that I’ve had for about two and a half years has been reacting to touch when I haven’t touched it and sometimes doesn’t react to touch at all in some areas of the screen. This has been going on on and off for the last few months. I’ve read that this can be called “ghost touch”. I’ve tried restarting the phone, updating it, clearing storage, cleaning the screen etc but nothing is working.
Has anybody had the same problem? And how did you solve it?

Settings > Battery > Battery Health

Replace your screen.
75% is not healthy and so the weak battery could be causing the screen problems. Have the battery replaced and see if the problems resolve:
