When I put my photos in a shared album they go in with the current date and time. Not when they where taken. If I airdrop them to my wife and she puts them in the shared folder they go in with the date taken. Why? What do I need to change on my iPhone to correct this ?

I did another test. I edited the photos in my Library (on my IPad ) I just used the manic wand, saved them and the transferred them to the share folder and all the dates came across correctly? However, I tried the same trick with my iPhone and the photos had the date of transfer, not the correct date that they where taken !!!! So I have a work around using my iPad but there must TV be a software bug to do with the iPhone and photos transferred to a shared folder!
I did another test, I created a test shared album, I picked 7 photos and added them to the test shared album using my iPad, 2 came across Witt the correct date, the other 4 had the date/time that I added them to the shared folder.
