After Monterey 12.5 my desktop icons are locked in place

I can't move them, and all the single files (Excel, Word) are now grouped in big file that I have to click each time I refresh my screen. Driving me crazy. I can open a file once I locate it, but I can't move it on the desktop.

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 12.5

Problem solved! Control + click on desktop. Un-check "stacks"
