Skype on iPad

When I press on the Skype icon on the home screen, Skype page opens for about one second and then disappears. How can I get into Skype? Thank you.

Uninstall the Skype App, and Install it again. Link-> Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Seems it's corrupted and crashing.
