Face ID no longer working since 15.6 on iPhone X

Hi there, Just wanted to ask the community if they have had any issues with Face ID not working since 15.6 on their iPhone X?

I recently updated to 15.6, later that day, i get a pop up to say Face ID isn't working.

I've done a reset for Face ID, this wouldnt let me re-set it up.

I then turned my phone off and on, it would allow me to set up Face ID and was working for 2 or 3 times until I got the message again that Face ID had failed.

Is this purely co-incidental that its after the 15.6 update?

Any suggestions?

iPhone X, iOS 15

It is coincidental and seems to affect iPhoneX more than any other phone (my observations) , however the only option you have currently is to have the camera repaired by Apple. No ody else can fix the security access requirements of the true depth camera.

How to arrange  a repair

First try a Forced restart Force restart iPhone – Apple Support (UK)

If no better you should arrange a repair iPhone Repair - Official Apple Support

Or

 Contact - Official Apple Support

Anything other than Screen or Battery may be a replacement phone and the price is in the article under "Other damage"

It can occur that you will receive the following message on your iPhone or iPad Pro : " A problem was detected with the true depth camera, FaceID is disabled"

When you're getting this error message, Make sure that you're iPhone or iPad Pro is running the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. If your device is running the latest iOS or iPadOS and you're still getting this message and FaceID is not working:  contact Apple Support to get your device serviced.
