“Face ID is not available” during Face ID setup

Hi,

About two weeks ago my Face ID on my iPhone just stopped working out all of a sudden and still hasn’t come good. I’ve tried resetting and erasing Face ID settings, to then retry setting up and it keeps saying “move iPhone a little higher/lower” and then eventually

comes up with “Face ID is not available, Try setting up Face ID later”. I’ve restarted my iPhone, checked that there are no cracks on the screen and gone through Apple’s support page, but yet I’ve had no luck. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you still need help, reset Face ID, then set it up again. Go to settings > Face ID & Passcode and tap Reset Face ID. Then tap Set up Face ID to set it up again. If you can't enrol your face, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or AppleAuthorized Service Provider or contact Apple Support.
