My new iPad Mini 6 is unable to use AOL Mail and I can't download my iTunes even in Family Sharing

Hi, My question is on my new iPad 6 Mini I went to Settings, then Mail and I added AOL. However it said it was not encrypted, but also I couldn't find it on my iPad Mini 6 that I just purchased. Did I do something wrong. Also I tried to transfer my music to my new iPad Mini 6 but I think the connector is that it came with doesn't fit with my MacBook Pro (late 2011) using MAC OS High Sierra and that is the highest it will go. Also I tried to share my iTunes but that didn't work as well. Do I have to download an app for AOL 1st. When I went to my iCloud mail it showed AOL but only for incoming mail, no Spam, Send, Trash or Archive showed up so I just deleted it from my iPad Mini 6.

Any help at all would be appreciated. I will be on an online appointment soon so if someone could text or email me Id prefer that for now. Thank you all. St

In common with many other Mail providers, AOL now use App Specific Passwords to access IMAP or POP3 mailboxes.

The Mail App on each of your devices, such as your iPad, requires a unique password to be generated from within the AOL account. This App Specific password intentionally differs from your AOL account password - and can only be used to access your AOL mail.

More information about AOL’s App Specific Passwords can be found here:
