My texts/calls are coming through as my iCloud rather than my phone number.

A few months ago, I was in the middle of texting. My texts started “not sending”. It would act like there was an issue then send anyway. Then I went back and forth between apple and my phone company as to why my texts/calls were not going through properly. They said it’s was the opposing company. Neither apple nor metro by T-Mobile could figure out why I’m not able to select my phone number instead of my iCloud email. When I leave Wi-Fi my phone acts as if it does not have good service ever. My texts come through as an email and look like spam messages!
