Time machine

When I try to restore from Time Machine, the restore button is grayed out.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

Time machine not restoring Time machine update but when I try to restore a file I find the time and date to restore, it goes to that page, but the Restore button will not highlight so I can't restore. I get around it by clicking on the volume on my hard drive, opening the chosen backup, find the file, then drag it to my desktop. This is a pain. I have a Seagate Plus Slim external drive. Time Machine Restore Button Stays Grayed Out I'm restoring a few files from Time Machine. After selecting a few files the 'Restore" button stays grayed. I can't click on it to restore. Restoring from a iMac 27” late 15 Mojave 10.14.6 to an iMac 21.5” late 13 with Mojave 10.14.6 Any suggestions?
