"CC" in upper left corner of my iPhone XR lock screen
I just noticed the letters "CC" showing in the upper left corner of my iPhone Xr (iOS 15.6) lock screen. What does it stand for and why has it shown up all of a sudden?

The upper left corner is where the name of your cellular carriers should appear.
I'm thinking maybe your carrier is Consumer Cellular?
