No sound, videos without headphones

Hello, so I had this issue where my iPhone sound stopped altogether. I think it started with a crackling noise during phone calls. Ever since then, I cannot watch videos or play music without my headphones or Bluetooth speaker. Neither am I able to shoot videos (camera app, Snapchat, everywhere) if my headphones or Bluetooth speaker is not connected.

does anyone have similar issues? Any recommendations for a fix? Could this be a virus, a software issue or hardware problem? Thanks

If you have a hearing or sound issue on your device then please try some of these processes to set it right

If the above options do not mitigate the issues then Contact your carrier and then Contact Apple Support
