I want to download photos from my iCloud to my computer (not a Mac) and save them by their date.
Most photos are downloaded and saved properly by their dates. The problem comes in when I try to download photos that were saved from WhatsApp on my iPhone - the date is not saved properly (it saves the current date and not the date of the photo).
Is there any way to make sure all photos are downloaded properly?

It sounds like downloading photos to your computer is not the issue, but WhatsApp photos are not appearing in date order. Instead, they appear in the date order you added them to your iPhone. Since WhatsApp isn't developed by Apple, you will want to contact WhatsApp and speak with their support.
WhatsApp will be able to explain if this is possible with their app, and if so, the steps you will need.

The WhatsApp photos do appear in date order on iCloud on my PC, the problem is when I download the photos...
Are there any screenshots that I can take which will help you understand the situation better?
