Lightning to HDMI converter

Using my Lighting to HDMI converter, video will stream from some services and not from others????? Even more frustrating, some services work through my iPad but not my iPhone 11, like Prime for instance. What gives??

If the source media is content-protected, then the target display must support HDCP. If the display does not, then unprotected content can be displayed, and protected content cannot.

Some apps and some streaming services can have different requirements around what content can be displayed externally. Some prevent all external displays. Check with the streaming providers’ app requirements and restrictions.

Check with the documentation for the Amazon Prime app, and then with Amazon Prime app support.

Amazon appears to prefer use of Chromecast for external displays.

Based on a quick look at the Amazon Prime Video docs, I don’t see any references to HDMI support.

You might be able to use AirPlay, but somebody would need to try that. I don’t see it listed at Amazon.
