Can't turn off my Apple TV

Currently I've got a bit of an issue which somebody in the community may be able to help me with?. Currently I have my Apple TV linked with my television remote.

I'm a first timer with apples 'Games arcade 'Service, when I went to Play a game that I downloaded no, and basically wanted me to revert to my original Apple TV remote (not the newer model).

I tried to find the Apple remote software on my iPhone but couldn't? I've only used it once before could somebody tell me where it is please?

Any help is really appreciated.

Kind regards,

Malcolm.

I use the Control Center method (2) myself.

Some Apple Arcade games need an input device with gyro and accelerometer, to know controller movements. That was included in the Siri Remote (1st generation), but unfortunately not in the Siri Remote (2nd generation). Else use a dedicated game controller for Apple Arcade.
