Copying iCloud Photos from one Apple ID to a different Apple ID

Hello,

I am wondering what the best and most efficient way is to copy all icloud photos and videos from one Apple ID account to a different and new Apple ID account WITHOUT impacting the original account. My wife and I have been using a single Apple ID for years and I want to create my own but still be able to access all our family photos and videos. Thank you!

If you will be updating to iOS16 / macOS Ventura when they are released (coming this fall, possibly by the end of September), they include a new feature "iCloud Shared Photo Library." See: iOS 16 Preview - New Features - Apple and macOS Ventura Preview - New Features - Apple
