Macbook Pro and Air won't turn on and won't charge.

So my MacBook pro 2020 which I'm using for 5 months and my sisters MacBook air 2020 which she is using for over a year won't turn on and won't even charge, we've taken good care of the units and this happens. it didn't even last long, Good thing mine is still under warranty but my sister isn't anymore. We had mine diagnose and they couldn't find out why if they wouldn't replace the parts, I ask the support and they said they don't know too. It's so bizarre that this happens both at the same time? Are there anyone who has the same problem? Repair cost too much.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.4

If your Mac doesn't turn on - Apple Support

Note the line about contacting Apple Support

This situation is not uncommon on this community but then it exists to help with problems. Repairs can certainly be expensive, how impacting that is depends on your budget, but if you have to have a computer your only option is a new, or newer, model.

You can't just ask support for a definitive diagnosis if there are hardware problems. Apple will need to evaluate it hands-on.

it would be nice if we could buy a new one since all our macbook don’t function anymore. For some of us who spent a lot to buy these units hoping it’s quality would stand but it didn’t. We had to pay for the diagnosis and when they can’t find the problem they said they need parts replacement which we have to pay too. Note that we can’t afford the diagnosis cause we’re still students so our last resort was to contact the support in which I would clarify the service provider told us to do asked them why do these things happen to the macbook looking for the same case but what they told me was that they have not heard a case like this before. I was just trying to find answer to someone who said they know best about the macbooks.

what I wanted to know really is why does our macbooks (not just one but all of our unit suddenly turned off and wouldn’t turn on.) and that’s it. We can’t just to pay for everything without knowing a thing about the problem.

thank you for the response
