Getting Drivers:

Look on ht original packaging, making cure it is compatible with your macOS. If so, contact Verbatim, requesting instructions and asking them where to get the drivers.

If so, it has some software on it, but the specs on this product are so old that it may not work with your OS. It mentions that it is compatible with Mac OS 10.6 which was Snow Leopard and that was a very long time ago. There is no app or software from that era that is compatible with a current Mac OS.

What I Use On my Monterey 2018 MacBook Pro: External All-in-One Optical Writer - Apple Support. Even burning Blu-ray on this works like a charm. Got it at a local retailer.
