Autocorrect in German?

Hi! For some reason, I’ve been having my phone occasionally autocorrect to German/have German words show up on my keyboard. Today, I’ve decided to look for a solution, but none of them have worked. My dictionary only has English, my two keyboards are English and emoji, my language is English and my region is in the United States.

The German doesn’t show up all of the time (as right now most of the words suggested to me have been in English), but it’ll randomly switch to it. Does anybody have any solutions?

Hey autohelp,

Auto-correction and predictive text learn words based on your conversation history. To remove these words as suggestions, you'd need to reset your keyboard dictionary. Following Return iPhone settings to their defaults,

"Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset.
Reset Keyboard Dictionary: You add words to the keyboard dictionary by rejecting words iPhone suggests as you type. Resetting the keyboard dictionary erases only the words you’ve added."
