Trying to transfer to MacBook that had hard drive reformatted. Cannot transfer because IOS is newer on MacBook that has the profile. Is there a way to upload iOS on MacBook that had hard drive reformatted so I can transfer data?
iOS is iPhone or iPad. MacOS is Mac. If your reformatted Mac has a lower MacOS than the backup, update the Mac to the appropriate MacOS, then use migration assistant.
