I am getting weird texts with codes from Apple. Is it legitimate?

I am concerned my iPhone is hacked. I woke up to the first message (see screen shot) and have no idea why. I changed my passcode without using the link provided and received another text with a code. Is this Apple or not? Thanks!

That first message is NOT legitimate! If you used an official Apple link to change your password, the second link is likely to be legitimate.

Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams will help you determine legitimacy.
