iCloud Drive "online only" feature on Mac

Hi! I used Dropbox drive for a long time, now I changed to iCloud Drive (2TB). I really missing this "online only" feature in iCloud Drive, that was a really cool thing in Dropbox. Now I can't free up store manually, just automatically doing it my Mac. So I would like to request for this feature in iCloud Drive too. As long as this feature is not available, is there a way to delete the heavy files from the Mac's drive? I tried CleanMyMac example, I hoped it will delete the Files as "junks", but not. Any way to delete it from storage but not in cloud too?

Thanks a lot!

Adam

I've found the solution:

In Finder you can see a downloaded folder to your Mac, which is already uploaded to cloud, you just have to press Control button and click to folder. You will see a new option: Remove Download
