Internal error when trying to pick alarm song

I have exactly the same issue described here: Internal error on alarm clock - Apple Community


I have of course tried restarting my iPhone, and updated software to the latest available version of iOS 15.6.


Model is iPhone 8 Plus MRT92LZ/A


Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Clock native app
  2. Choose add alarm “+” sign on top right corner
  3. Choose “sound”
  4. Choose “pick a song”


Expected: options to pick a song should be displayed

Result: error from screenshot attached

Hello Fernandavalonso,


We would like to see how we can help you with the Clock app. It looks like you may not have the Apple Music app installed on your iPhone. You'll need to download it again from the App Store before you'll be able to add a song.
