"User interaction required" error/exception when trying to disable csrutil in recovery mode

Then suggest logging Out of that account and into the Owner Account ( the first account used when the computer was first setup )

Are you starting up on One True Recovery (1TR) by starting from a shutdown state?

I don’t know if you must be in 1TR for disabling SIP, but that seems like it would be a requirement.

You can’t enter 1TR from a restart. You must shutdown, the restart into recovery.

Is this an Added Admin User account and not the Owner of this computer ?

It begs the question why are you attempting to disable SIP....(?) it is not advised

What application are you trying to add that is giving you trouble...

SIP should be enabled by default, you can see this from Terminal copy & paste:

csrutil status
