Apple Health - Floors Climbed

Hi, I’ve just migrated to an iPhone 13 mini it seems not to be recording the floors climbed, my daily average has dropped significantly for similar walks ?

Hello Tim,

We want to go over this with you and figure out what is going on differently with the new iPhone.

Use the Health app on your iPhone or iPod touch and verify your Health Profile and data is correct.

Do you use any other devices or apps to track your activity? For example do you use an Apple Watch?

I have already double checked the health profile data, it has not changed, tomorrow I will take out both my old iPhone SE and the new iPhone 13 mini to see how the flights climbed on an identical walk compare. The country has been suffering from a heat wave with a period of high pressure, which I suspect is impacting the device barometric reading.
