Trying to sync iphone XR (iOS 15.6) with Mac Book Pro (Monterey). Both do not have any pending updates. Gets stuck at #3 out of 5 Determining tracks to sync. Wsa fine a coupe weeks ago. Any fixes?

First, give it time; it’s a complex process determining tracks to sync. So give it a couple of hours.
the other thing to try is to start the Mac in Safe mode. This prevents loading apps that are normally automatically loaded at startup, and leaves more RAM free for Finder to use for the matching. To start in Safe mode hold the SHIFT key during startup.
