How can I transfer my MacBook's Photo Library (about 100GB) to my Google Photos(I have 2TB space)?

Hi, I need some space, so I want to use my Google account. But Google BackUp Application can not read my Photo Library. What should I do? Should I do it manual? All of them? Does anyone know of a practical way to do this? And actually there is a practical method for iPhoto but MacBook Photo Library is not backed up in iPhotos, that's why i'm in trouble

When I try to download the Google Photos application, the AppStore warns that this application is only for iPhones and iPads. My only possibility to back up to Google is Google Drive's backup application. There are only visible folders in this application permissions, unfortunately Photo Library appears as an app

Export images from Photos and then upload them to Google Photos. Yes, it is a hassle.

Google Photos works via a web browser in macOS so no need for a separate app.

But I’d first try this in a smaller scale before converting the whole library. And make good backups.

There is no online storage facility that can store a Photos library and have it retrieved in working condition. For a drive to successfully store a Photos library it must be formatted OS X Extended (journaled) or APFS because of the library's unique and complex ecosystem. Neither are used by online storage facilities.

To store your photos in Google or any other online facility you'l have to export them out of the library and upload to the facility.
