How do I fix my MacBook Air. It’s stuck on the apple activate Mac screen and keeps asking me to select Wi-Fi but there aren’t any options listed only the smiley greyed out face and the restart button

Thanks for posting that screenshot!


Unfortunately, in certain scenarios, macOS Recovery fails to show the Wi-Fi icon in the top right corner. There's three options available to fix this for now:


  • Connect an Ethernet adapter and cable to your Mac,


  • Erase your Mac (click Recovery Assistant at the top, and select "Erase Mac")
