You should not feel anything from the silence button when charging any phone. You may want to get your phone checked at an Apple Store or Apple authorized service center.
Please explain what you mean by ‘earthquakes on the top of the left button’. This makes no sense.

Are you using a genuine Apple charger? Cheaper ones can produce AC ripple which may be what your feeling.
There is nothing in the phone that can make the mute switch move. Most likely your case is responsible.
