Sign in issue

I have had an Apple TV subscription for a while and everything looks fine in my subscriptions within my apple I.d. However, today when I opened the app it asked me to sign in again and then is asked me to start a free 7 day trial even though in the setting on the app it clearly shows I’m signed in. I have reset the app a few times and every time I sign in to my account it is asking to start a free trial.

There have been an unusual number of similar reports recently.

It may be best to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance, in case it is something account related, or something server-side, or DNS related. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/​email/​callback).
