Hi, just recently bought an iPhone 5s running iOS 12.5.5 and I wanted to download the Disney + app so I can download some shows and movies for plane and car rides, but I can’t even open the app to sign in. It sits on the dark navy blue screen for a couple of seconds. I don’t know what else to do. It’s on the newest version of iOS 12 so I can’t update it further. Can someone help?

The Disney + app requires iOS 14 or later, it will not work on your phone. I'm not sure how it downloaded on your device, usually a message will pop up saying you don't meet the minimum requirements.
You may want to consider buying a newer phone, not many apps will run on that version of iOS anymore.

It requires iOS 12 and later. Not iOS 14 and you can download apps on older out of support iOS devices too.
