I recently got a new m1 pro 14-inch Macbook pro. I tried to put my Scotiabank debit card into the wallet & apple pay on my MacBook but it is saying that the card does not work on apple pay on this device. However, on my iPhone and apple watch, my debit card works fine on apple pay. I am on the latest version of macOS Monterey and I am wondering what is the problem and what should I fix.

I followed the guides you sent but it still hasn’t solved the problem. I tested using some other credit cards I have and they work on my MacBook Apple Pay + Wallet. It seems to be a problem with my Scotia debit card despite it being the main card I use + being on my iPhone Apple Pay + wallet. I think therefore it something to with my bank so I will contact them. Thanks for the help
