Hello, is there a drawing of keyboard characters in French for each dead keys combinations (cmd, shift, ctrl and all variations).
As an alternative, how can I capture the screenshot properly from the virtual keyboard display? It seems the screenshot button is ineffective when a dead key is pressed.

For this you can use the Screenshot App in Applications/Utilities. It offers more flexible ways to take screen shots.
(I don't know of any graphics of all levels of the French keyboard available online)

Apple also provides a layout (in system preferences > keyboard > input sources) called "French PC" if that is easier.
