I’m trying to add my drivers license to my wallet. It will only allow you to add an Arizona or Maryland ID. Mine is an Alabama Drivers License.
Yes, those are the only states currently enabled.
But we, just users like you, are not aware of future plans/decisions about that matter. You might try contacting motorization office in your state and ask them.

Alabama (and most other states) do not yet support driver licenses in Apple Wallet.
Because of Alabama don't support this function yet
