WIFI - Deleted wifi settings

Hi, deleted my wifi settings and tried to repair by going into system preferences -network-location-add a new location-click on the wifi from the router- advanced settings- copied the settings from my other iMac- and absolutely nothing it reports"No IP address" then "Self-Assigned IP"


Any help gratefully received
