failed install
Trade in set up: I erased but was unable to reinstall El Captain OS on Mac Book air (2014). I cannot finish trade in set up to ship out.

“internet recovery” solved my problem. 1 restart mac by holding down option, command and R keys until a small turning globe shows up.
2 wait till it finishes install.
3. Follow instructions and choose the latest os for your computer.
4. Finish install.
it takes 2 hour drive to an Apple store. Round trip 4 hours for me plus lost wage. Thanks for your quick reply.
