iPhone SE 2nd Generation finding information in the backups on my computer

I backed my iPhone SE 2nd Generation on my computer. I found the location on my computer where the backup information is in: Application Support, MobileSync, Backup file.

In the backup file is about 9 folders made of letters and numbers that lead to other folders for example marked, 00, 0a,0b,0c,0d,0e,0f and so on. Those folders lead to another list of numbers and letters which some show photos, or the icon of a document, etc.

How do I go about finding specific information such as Favorite phone numbers, and text messages etc.?

You could- but you'd need all the necessary credentials to log in, and it would require a complete erase and restore of your iPhone.

You can't "merge" back-ups. However, if you backed up your iPhone do a different profile on your Mac, then erased and restored your iPhone from her backup, your iPhone would be an exact copy of hers when her phone was backed up. You could find the necessary information, then write it down or save it (AirDrop for files, if necessary) and then erase and re-restore the iPhone from your backup. You could then input the information/transfer the files you need.

I don't know how possible it is- I use encrypted backups, so I have about sixty folders, all filled with many files of incomprehensible gibberish. You could potentially sort through it all by changing your Finder view to "as Columns", which will let you view more items at a time. Finding some of the data you wish may not be possible for security reasons, even without encrypted backups.

I want to keep my iPhone data and I want her data as well. So I can't have both or I need to erase and restore my phone with my backup files and transfer her backup files at the same time?

Not sure I'm following the procedure.

Is possible to transfer my wife's iPhone SE backup files to my phone? Would moving those files to my phone I would have access to her phone contacts, etc?
