Mic mode and video effect problem
Why is there not a mic mode and video effects on my iPhone 8 Plus?

From what it sounds like, you're talking about features available on some models of iPhone feeling with FaceTime. Is that right?
If so, filtering out background noice, as you mentioned with Mic Mode, is available on supported models, which includes iPhone 2nd Generation and later, so the iPhone 8+ is not included in that. Camera effects should be available within FaceTime on your model of iPhone though.
