WI-FI Calling and Ubiquity AP/Routers

I am having a really hard time here at my work place in finding info I can give our Tech Co. about the issues I seem to be having with my Iphone and Wi-Fi calling not working. Internet works just fine on the network, wi-fi calling on the other hand is not functional or has limited functionality, seems to work when I have a single signal bar, but most of the time I get a "No Service" indication, even though the phone shows to be connected to wi-fi, and everything else works, there is no wi-fi calling at that point.

I have went thru all the suggestions about resetting the phone restoring the phone, swap to Airplane Mode to try to force wi-fi calling etc. etc. and nothing has worked. Forgetting the network and signing back into the network does nothing as well.

It seems that I can find info going back as much as maybe 4 years where there have been issues on and off again with Iphone and Ubiquity products. How can I best explain this to our Tech Co. to fix this because our sales dept here cannot take calls without the Wi-Fi calling, there is no signal inside our steel buildings regardless of provider. They are double shelled Steel Buildings, nothing makes it thru.

Please assist if you can.

Hi, RevBruce75,

If you are having issues with Wi-Fi calling in all locations, we would recommend ensuring the following steps from Make a call with Wi-Fi Calling - Apple Support have been completed. They are designed to troubleshoot in such scenarios:

If you can't turn on or use Wi-Fi Calling, make sure that your carrier offers Wi-Fi Calling and that your devices have the latest software. Then, follow these steps if you can't turn on Wi-Fi Calling or make a Wi-Fi call. Wait two minutes before you go from one step to the next.

1. Go to Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling and make sure that Wi-Fi Calling is on.
2. Restart your iPhone.
3. Connect to a different Wi-Fi network. Not all Wi-Fi networks work with Wi-Fi Calling.
4. Turn Wi-Fi Calling off and then on again.
5. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset, and tap Reset Network Settings.

If Wi-Fi calling is specific to your work building, it is likely to be related to the network there. We can recommend having your IT department review the information in Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points - Apple Support to ensure that the network router and access points are configured optimally for your iPhone.

If you have any other questions, please get in touch with Apple Support directly, as they'll have access to additional tools and resources to assist with: Get Support.

Have a fantastic day.
