m2 macbook air speakers have buzzing noises

Yes! This is happening to me too! I've had the machine for a little under two months, but the buzzing just started a couple weeks ago. I first noticed on Zoom calls, but it doesn't seem to happen as regularly with music, strangely. I've also noticed it when I get an Outlook notification.

I took it to the Genius Bar and they ran some diagnostics and at first they said it passed and they tried to dismiss me. But then I played the Outlook notification sound and they agreed to replace the machine. It's apparently too new and they don't have any replacement parts yet. Also the tech who helped me heard the noise when playing some Beyonce, which I think clinched it somehow.

Currently waiting for them to let me know it's ready to pick up, since I'd ordered it custom.
