Playhead behavior question

Hi,

When I'm zoomed in on the timeline while its playing, as soon as I stop playback, everything jumps to where the playhead is. I understand this behavior happens by default. How do I stop this from happening?

For example, if I'm zoomed in the timeline, editing a section, and I start playing the video, the playhead moves beyond that section (which is ok), when I stop playback, the timeline jumps to where the playhead is, and I lose my place where I was zoomed in editing.

I'm sure this is just a simple setting, but I haven't been able to find anything online. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
