Trying to Install XAMPP on my Mac

I get this error message: “xampp-osx-8.1.6-0-vm.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

Is there anything that can be done please?

Failed to install java OS error code 1 I could find on-line no hints re what else to try. Hence, this Q to the Community. Thanks for replying, and yes, I worked that part out from the error message. I have since solved my problem as the XAMPP version 8.1.6 on the Apache Friends website installs OK and works fine thankfully. Thanks again.
