MacBook Pro will not recognize new password

I just reset my password with a link sent to my email. It looks like everything is working but I can't login on my Mac pro. How long does it take for the Mac to trcognize new password?

The way I was able to send you a message was through the link I got in email when I completed the process it sent me to support page if I had any other questions. After I couldn't access my account through the new password I came back to the email and post this message. Someone sent me a link through this site about how to reset my password and they told me to do it again.

I doubt anybody on this site sent you an email to do anything; that's just not done. Why would it be when you can get almost real time help right here?


What you are describing is a known phishing scam to get you to divulge your password. You do not need an email to change your password on your Mac.
