Macbook Pro M1 won't boot My MacBook Pro m1 14 inch suddenly refuses to boot into macOS and shows a black screen. When I try to boot it chimes and shows the Apple logo briefly after going black again. I tried resetting the NVRAM and SMC but found out SMC can't be reset on Apple silicon and NVRAM is reset automatically when starting up if it needs to be. The keyboard is non-responsive but the trackpad gives haptic feedback. Since I can see the Apple logo briefly it doesn't look to be related to a faulty screen. This happened after I updated to Ventura 13.5 but I used the updated MacBook before closing the lid and finding it like this the other day. The charger also lights up correctly but doesn't make any charging sounds when connected.

My Macbook Pro 14 M1 suddenly doesnt turn on My 14-inch MacBook abruptly ceased functioning. It refuses to power on unless plugged into the charger, and even then, it powers up briefly before the screen goes black, then reverts to the login screen. Typically, I keep my laptop in sleep mode and rarely shut it down. However, after a month without turning it off, I did so yesterday, and upon restarting, it worked flawlessly. Unfortunately, the following day, this issue arose unexpectedly.

M1 14" macbook black screen and will not start up Hello, Does anyone have any idea why my M1 MacBook pro suddenly died whilst connected to MagSafe then black screen and will not start up, even after calling Apple support but failing to restart - do anyone know the cause of the problem? I have since returned it to Argos who have sent it for repair since I only had it for about 4 weeks, luckily within the 30-day guarantee. This is my first Apple laptop. I am also wondering about the cost to repair since the repair slip does state there may be a cost for parts and is brand new (4 weeks old at the time and awaiting repair). (just wondering if anyone else had similar problems with the M1 MacBook pro) Thanks
