Logic Pro's Free Trial

After the 90 days what happens to the music make on Logic Pro's free trial? Does it delete or is it saved somewhere until I buy Logic Pro?

Hi there, to my knowledge, nothing happens to the projects you create / save while using the trial version of Logic Pro.

If you're worried you won't be able to tweak them further after trial period expires, you could export tracks in each project as audio or bounce whole projects to audio (as one audio file, that is) before the expiration date. In the former case, once you have multitracks, you may be able to import them into another DAW for further edits. In the latter, you'd have a "snapshot" of your work to date, so to speak.

Not sure how Logic behaves once the trial period ends, but chances are you'll still be able to open and play back projects. I'm confident the app doesn't self-destruct, if that's your concern. Normally, it's saving / exporting / bouncing that is restricted after 90 days. I may be wrong on that, though. Cheers!

Hi Radarhus,

Thanks for your reply, yes I was worried that my projects would just delete after the trial ended so this hasp my mind at ease. I will try and export or bounce them prior to it running out just in case I cannot do so afterward. Im going to most likely buy Logic Pro after the trial anyway so I will be able to open up the tracks again after that!

Thanks again for your reply, much appreciated!
