I have transferred my old phone number from my old iPhone to my new one but can’t delete the tel number of the new SIM card that came with the new phone and s lot of my I messages are missing that

Have transferred my old tel number from old to new iPhone by following the swap instructions but SIM card phone number which came with new phone still showing in new phone and won’t let me delete

a lot of my I messages mussing and new ones not coming through

the ones I send are showing with the new SIM card number so friends don’t know who has sent the message

your new phone needs to be activated by your phone carrier.
